Narayana Health launches the first exclusive ‘Transplant Clinic’ in Siliguri

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 24th August, 2018: In a continued effort to advance comprehensive and robust clinical care and create awareness about organ donation among the citizens of North Bengal and its adjoining areas, Narayana Health launched its first exclusive ‘Transplant Clinic’ in Siliguri. The clinic will be conducted on monthly Schedule at Siliguri by Sr. Doctors from R N Tagore Hospital, Kolkata & Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Kolkata. The event also aimed at creating awareness about Organ Donation in North Bengal, highlighting the role and importance of Organ Donation in human life and why it is still in its infancy stage. Senior consultant of Renal, Heart, Liver and Bone Marrow Transplant department, Narayana Health was present to brief the media. The clinic will be conducted on monthly schedule at Siliguri by Sr. Doctors from R N Tagore Hospital, Kolkata & Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Kolkata including Dr. Pratik Das, Consultant Renal Transplant & Nephrologist, Dr. Pankaj Sonar, Liver Transplant Surgeon & Gastrointestinal Surgeon, Dr. Rahul Roy, Liver Transplant Surgeon & Gastrointestinal Surgeon, R N Tagore Hospital and other prominent doctors.
